Your friend claims that fried sinful food makes you fat. However, Intermittent Fasting theory claims that you can eat within your body's daily caloric intake AND still stay lean. 

Dinner: Fried Bee Hoon and various fried items (photo below), Soya Bean Drink

Supper (photo below): White Rice, Char Siew Pork, Fried Meat Ball, Fried Fish Stick, Red Beans, few slices of Vegetables, 1 Can of Seasons Ice Lemon Tea
